Listening Horse Ranch provides learning and growth opportunities in a fun and safe outdoor environment for individuals, couples, families and corporate groups through the Equine (Horse) Facilitated Learning Experience. Unlike Therapeutic Riding, all activities take place on the ground (not on horseback) and no horse experience is required.
Our Certified Equine Therapist will safely and gently guide you into creating a connection with a horse so that you will have an opportunity like no other to grow in personal awareness. You can
- learn how your energy influences those around you,
- uncover your true desires,
- practice aligning your beliefs with your actions,
- process feelings,
- enhance communication and conflict resolution skills,
- grow in leadership ability and self-confidence,
- connect more deeply with your spiritual self, or
- overcome a fear of horses.
Anything that you might bring to a counseling, coaching or life skills session can be worked on in the presence of a gentle but powerful equine presence who wants, above all, for you to become your best self.
We do this by presenting safe opportunities for active learning alongside the clear, non-judgmental feedback of a horse resulting in an effective and memorable personal growth experience. Our highly trained Equine Therapist will tailor a session that best suits your needs. We also offer standard office-based counselling sessions for those not comfortable working with the horses. These sessions happen at the Ranch in the private counselling office.
